The Restaurant Manager role within Crystal Creek Hospitality is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing the operational success of the restaurant and bar. This role is integral to maintaining daily logistics including employee scheduling, guest feedback management, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with all local liquor licensing and safety regulations. Beyond operations, the Restaurant Manager drives marketing efforts and promotional advertising initiatives aimed at enhancing guest visitation and profitability. This leadership position demands a versatile professional who can manage front-of-house staff performance, cultivate a warm and upscale-yet-comfortable ambiance, and create meaningful guest connections through exceptional service. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Director, the Restaurant Manager collaborates closely with restaurant chefs, hotel leadership, and external partners such as vendors and local government officials.

Responsibilities extend from recruitment, training, and certification compliance to team scheduling based on guest forecasting. The Manager also facilitates important communications within the department through daily pre-shift briefings, monthly staff meetings, and ensuring effective dissemination of leadership directives. This role includes the development of continuous improvement plans and participation in events and marketing collaborations to uphold the brand's values and service standards. The physical demands of the job require the ability to stand, walk, lift, and handle various tasks in an active hospitality environment. Job Duties

  • Recruit interview hire and train new restaurant and bar staff
  • manage guest feedback
  • advertise daily weekly and monthly promotions of the restaurant and bar
  • ensure staff are following all food and drink control and safety regulations
  • create employee schedules based on forecasted guest numbers
  • track and document inventory ensuring appropriate product levels are maintained
  • manage staff performance including coaching sessions
  • oversee departmental communications and meetings including daily pre-shift stand ups and monthly all staff meetings
  • develop a continuous improvement plan
  • confirm all new bartenders are TIPS certified
  • plan and create menus
  • collaborate with department heads on events and marketing
  • ensure onboarding paperwork for new hires is complete and accurate
  • monitor adherence to hotel policies and procedures
  • educate employees on handbook contents during onboarding
  • administer training programs to ensure compliance
  • ensure compliance with employment-related regulations
  • maintain effective communication within the department and across all hotel staff
  • identify and rectify safety hazards
  • participate in projects and assignments ensuring guidelines are followed
  • develop positive rapports with all stakeholders
  • uphold culture values goals and human resource programs of the hotel and company
