- bachelor and or associates degree preferred not required

Job Duties
- Recruit interview hire and train new restaurant and bar staff
- manage guest feedback
- advertise daily weekly and monthly promotions of the restaurant and bar
- ensure staff are following all food and drink control and safety regulations
- create employee schedules based on forecasted guest numbers
- track and document inventory ensuring appropriate product levels are maintained
- manage staff performance including coaching sessions
- oversee departmental communications and meetings including daily pre-shift stand ups and monthly all staff meetings
- develop a continuous improvement plan
- confirm all new bartenders are TIPS certified
- plan and create menus
- collaborate with department heads on events and marketing
- ensure onboarding paperwork for new hires is complete and accurate
- monitor adherence to hotel policies and procedures
- educate employees on handbook contents during onboarding
- administer training programs to ensure compliance
- ensure compliance with employment-related regulations
- maintain effective communication within the department and across all hotel staff
- identify and rectify safety hazards
- participate in projects and assignments ensuring guidelines are followed
- develop positive rapports with all stakeholders
- uphold culture values goals and human resource programs of the hotel and company
- maintain a professional appearance and attitude
