Have Fun.' This philosophy not only drives their business operations but also nurtures a supportive and dynamic workplace environment. Founded on the concept of simplicity and excellence, Raising Cane's has expanded to become one of the fastest-growing chicken concepts in the United States, aiming to be among the top 10 restaurant brands nationally.
The company values every team member's contributions, referring to them as 'Crewmembers,' who are vital to the brand's continuous success and growth. Raising Cane's offers competitive wages starting at $20 per hour, with rates varying by location, experience, and other factors. They provide a range of benefits to full-time Restaurant Managers, including medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy coverage; flexible spending accounts for dependent care and healthcare; life and disability insurance; various supplemental insurance options; a 401(k) plan with employer match for employees aged 21 and older; and access to financial advisors for budget and retirement planning. Additional perks include gym memberships, tuition reimbursement, employee assistance programs, and pet insurance.
The role of the Restaurant Manager at Raising Cane's is integral to ensuring the smooth, efficient, and profitable operation of the restaurant while maintaining the high standards for which the company is known. This role involves supporting the Restaurant Leader in daily operations and managing shifts to ensure that all operational areas meet company expectations. Given the nature of the work environment, managers must be prepared for physical tasks such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending, and should be comfortable working in fast-paced kitchens and varied temperatures. Safety is a key focus, with proper use of personal protective equipment being mandatory.
A Restaurant Manager at Raising Cane's acts as a leader and role model for their team, directing crewmembers and ensuring customer satisfaction during their shifts. Responsibilities include managing cash handling and accountability, enforcing all company policies and standards, and overseeing the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility. Managers conduct shift meetings, utilize documentation and reporting tools to monitor performance, and are responsible for authorizing certain employee activities like discounts and promotions. They also play a pivotal role in employee engagement through the company’s reward and recognition programs. With an emphasis on teamwork, operational excellence, and customer service, this role suits energetic and organized individuals who excel in a collaborative environment and can adapt to evolving priorities.
