Nestled as a sumptuously designed and meticulously restored luxury hotel, Belden House & Mews embodies splendor and attention to detail in every aspect of its operation. The property is composed of the main Belden House and an adjacent Mews, both of which offer a blend of historic charm and modern sophistication. Hosting guests in an environment that combines comfort and elegance, Belden House & Mews has built a strong reputation for personalized and anticipatory service that exceeds expectations.

The company’s culture is deeply rooted in collaboration, dedication, and a passion for providing best-in-class customer service. Staff are valued and encouraged to support one another across departments, creating a unified team committed to success that reflects positively on both employees and guests. This spirit of teamwork ensures that every detail matters, and that the establishment consistently maintains its reputation for excellence. Moreover, Belden House & Mews is dedicated to community involvement and environmental preservation, reflecting a broader commitment beyond its immediate hospitality function.

The role of Restaurant Manager at Belden House & Mews is a pivotal position within their Food & Beverage (F&B) department. Reporting to the Senior F&B Manager, this position commands significant responsibility in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel’s dining outlets. The Manager's prime focus is to ensure that every guest enjoys an exceptional luxury dining experience, aligning with the high standards synonymous with the brand. This includes driving outstanding service, operational excellence, and financial performance while maintaining compliance with relevant health, safety, and brand quality standards.

The Restaurant Manager leads a team of front-of-house staff to maintain an elegant atmosphere that is consistent with the hotel’s luxury image. This role involves direct involvement in operational tasks such as managing opening and closing procedures, overseeing the guest flow and reservations, and ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant space. The Manager is also instrumental in guest relations, resolving any issues promptly and with professionalism to foster positive perceptions and repeat patronage.

In addition to guest service delivery and operations management, the Restaurant Manager has significant leadership responsibilities. This includes recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring the restaurant team. Performance management is an ongoing requirement, with the Manager conducting regular evaluations and facilitating daily briefings to communicate service standards and operational updates. Staffing and scheduling are managed judiciously to optimize labor costs and meet the business demand effectively.

Financial oversight is another core element of this role. The Restaurant Manager monitors daily sales and expenses, controls inventory, reduces waste, and manages supplies — all with a view to achieving revenue and profitability goals. They also ensure beverage quality and menu knowledge meet luxury hospitality expectations, supporting a comprehensive guest experience.

Safety and compliance with health regulations, including responsible alcohol service, are rigorously maintained. The Manager fosters a safe working environment for employees and guests alike. Collaboration with other hotel departments broadens the scope of this role, supporting special events, VIP experiences, and promotional initiatives that enhance the hotel’s brand and guest offerings.

Compensation for this full-time position is competitive, with an annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $65,000.
