Job Description

Wendy's is a leading fast-food restaurant known for its fresh, made-to-order hamburgers and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Founded in 1969 by Dave Thomas, Wendy's revolutionized the quick-service industry by rejecting the use of frozen beef and mass-produced food. Instead, the brand focuses on fresh ingredients and quality service, setting itself apart as a pioneer in the fast-food market. Over the years, Wendy's has grown into a beloved global brand with a strong reputation for quality and customer satisfaction. The company's culture emphasizes respect, inclusivity, and a fun work environment where team members are valued and empowered to succeed.

This full-time Lead role operates under the supervision of the Restaurant Manager and plays a critical part in managing the daily operations and staff of a Wendy's restaurant. With a strong focus on staffing, training, and scheduling, this position is designed to build and retain a 5-star team that reflects the restaurant's core values. You will be instrumental in identifying top talent, ensuring the right people are in the right positions at the right times through effective scheduling. This role also acts as the face of the restaurant to new hires, guiding crew members on how to embody Dave’s Legacies and consistently "Delight Every Customer."

Supporting the General Manager, you will help provide coaching and development opportunities to the team, fostering a positive, inviting work environment where every team member feels respected and valued. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining a high standard of fresh food preparation and quality service that Wendy's customers expect. By leading your team to treat every customer like family, you will help ensure that the restaurant achieves its sales and profit goals and remains a preferred dining destination. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to give and take direction, and the motivation to make each shift better than the last. Whether you have direct foodservice experience or are transitioning from another industry, your belief in Wendy’s mission and commitment to quality will help drive success.

Wendy's offers competitive pay at $16 per hour and fosters an inclusive workplace that welcomes all races, religions, nationalities, genders, and LGBTQ+ community members. The company is also committed to accommodating individuals with disabilities, ensuring that everyone can perform their essential job functions. This comprehensive leadership position is based on-site and requires flexible availability and a willingness to engage with various operational tasks, ranging from handling restaurant equipment to standing for extended periods. If you are passionate about leading teams, delivering excellent customer service, and being part of a dynamic work environment, Wendy’s invites you to join their family and contribute to the ongoing story of this iconic brand.
