The role of Restaurant Manager at Texas Roadhouse is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations. This full-time position requires a leader who is passionate about guest satisfaction and has a keen interest in working within a kitchen environment. The Restaurant Manager is entrusted with the responsibility to ensure that the standards of Legendary Food and Legendary Service are consistently maintained during every shift. This entails managing the performance and development of hourly employees, driving sales, maintaining safety and security in the restaurant, and ensuring compliance with food handling procedures and operational guidelines.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting employee evaluations, coaching, and disciplining staff when necessary. The Manager plays an integral role in recruitment by reviewing applications, interviewing candidates, and making hiring decisions or recommendations. A key aspect of the job involves directing work schedules, assigning tasks, and motivating employees to meet operational goals. The Manager also leads training initiatives for both FOH and BOH teams to enhance skills and maintain high standards of service and food quality.

In addition to staff management, the Restaurant Manager must oversee food production and preparation to guarantee that dishes meet the company’s established recipes and procedures. They conduct formal line taste and temperature checks to uphold food quality and safety. Managing inventory and controlling costs related to food, supplies, and liquor are also essential tasks. Beyond operational responsibilities, the Manager fosters a safe, fun, and clean working environment aligned with the company’s core values. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous restaurant management experience
  • Ability to lead teams effectively

Job Duties
