Tacos El Terry is a dynamic and high-energy quick-service taqueria scheduled to open in early Fall 2026 in the heart of Nashville's Broadway, one of the city's most iconic and bustling streets known for its vibrant nightlife and cultural attractions. This restaurant stands out by focusing on a concise yet quality-driven menu featuring 4-5 varieties of made-to-order tacos served on fresh handmade tortillas, accompanied by chips, guacamole, and fresh salsas. The beverage selection embraces timeless classics such as margaritas, palomas, and ice-cold beer, catering perfectly to the tastes of local patrons and tourists alike.

Tacos El Terry is currently hiring a Restaurant Manager, a pivotal role responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations with an emphasis on leading front-of-house teams and delivering an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced and high-volume setting. This position requires a seasoned manager with at least two years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a full-service environment, who can effectively manage shifts, motivate teams, ensure operational excellence, and support the business in achieving financial goals.
The Restaurant Manager will play a key role in maintaining the smooth running of the restaurant by leading shift operations, conducting pre-shift meetings, overseeing food and safety checks, managing closing procedures, and ensuring impeccable customer service. Additionally, the role involves partnering with the General Manager to control costs, boost sales, conduct hiring and training, handle supply inventories, and foster a positive work environment. Candidates will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, the ability to build rapport with guests and team members, and adeptness in managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations when necessary.

Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service environment
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifts effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Capability to perform inventory and manage supplies
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings, late nights and weekends
- Physical ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficiency in customer service and conflict resolution
- Commitment to fostering a positive work environment
- Availability for occasional overnight travel

Job Duties
- Run shifts and lead and direct the daily operations of a restaurant
- Lead pre-shift meetings and participate in line, temperature and cooler checks
- oversee all closing manager duties including counting down the safe, reviewing labor sheets and preparing nightly numbers email
- Organize, run and supervise smooth and efficient daily opening and closing shifts, ensuring an exceptional guest and employee experience
- Provide guidance and leadership to hourly and management teams while fostering our Culture of Caring
- Respond immediately and effectively to guest and employee needs and feedback
- Assist GM in managing costs, driving sales and growing the business in support of financial goals
- Partner with GM and management team to interview, hire, onboard, train, supervise and develop all BOH employees and teams as needed
- Perform regular and ad hoc inventories of food, beverage and restaurant supplies and track high cost items
