Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is a well-established company that combines a restaurant and retail store experience to create a warm and welcoming environment for guests across the United States. Since its inception in 1969, Cracker Barrel has grown into a beloved destination known for its delicious comfort food, hospitality, and a unique shopping experience offering a variety of goods from nostalgic gifts to home decor. The company employs over 70,000 team members nationwide who share a commitment to creating memorable moments that bring people together. Cracker Barrel prides itself on being more than just a place to eat or shop; it is a place to reconnect and feel at home. Known for its strong roots in country hospitality, Cracker Barrel fosters a culture where teamwork, care, and a people-first approach form the foundation of its success. The work environment emphasizes inclusivity, support, and personal growth for all team members, contributing to its reputation as a company where 'we're all in good company.'

The Cracker Barrel Restaurant Manager role is integral to continuing this legacy of excellence. This management position focuses on leading both front-of-house and back-of-house restaurant operations, ensuring that guests experience the high standard of service, quality food, and friendly atmosphere that define Cracker Barrel. As a leader, the Restaurant Manager plays a vital role in coaching and developing team members, managing daily activities, inventory control, and operational efficiency. The manager sets the example for the team by demonstrating exceptional hospitality and a commitment to making both guests and employees feel valued. This role demands a balance of operational oversight and empathetic leadership, as the manager is responsible for maintaining smooth restaurant flow during busy periods while supporting and motivating their staff. The ability to stay calm under pressure and foster a cooperative team environment is essential.

This is a full-time position requiring a commitment of 50 hours weekly, typically in five 10-hour shifts, which may include holidays and weekends. The role necessitates a valid driver's license for operational needs and comes with competitive compensation, including an annual salary, merit increases, and bonus opportunities. Cracker Barrel also highlights professional growth prospects, with over 90% of higher managerial positions filled internally, supported by tuition reimbursement and continual professional development programs. Beyond career growth, the company offers comprehensive benefits starting on day one, such as medical, dental, vision insurances, paid vacation, life insurance, and access to an employee assistance program. Additional perks include a 35% discount on food and retail purchases, exclusive discounts on home and travel services, and a robust 401k plan with company matching. Cracker Barrel's commitment to diversity and equal opportunity means qualified applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply and be part of a culture that values respect and belonging.

Overall, the Restaurant Manager at Cracker Barrel not only oversees operations but also embodies the heart of the brand, ensuring every guest enjoys more than a meal and every team member feels supported and valued. This is an opportunity to join a reputable, people-centered company where leadership is about care, connection, and a shared dedication to country hospitality.
