Job Description
Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is a renowned fast-food restaurant chain famous for its focus on serving the most craveable chicken finger meals, which they proudly call their "One Love." Established as the fastest-growing chicken concept in the United States, Raising Cane's is on an ambitious path towards becoming a Top 10 Restaurant Brand nationwide. Known not only for its quality food but also for its vibrant and inclusive culture, the company places a significant emphasis on its Crew members and fosters a "Work Hard. Have Fun." philosophy that drives its business success and rapid expansion. Working with Raising Cane's means being part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment where every crew member contributes to the brand's enduring excellence and customer satisfaction.
As a Restaurant Manager at Raising Cane's, you will play a critical role in supporting the Restaurant Leader with the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. This position is instrumental in maintaining the high standards and unique culture that the brand is known for. The role demands a hands-on approach to managing restaurant shifts, which includes overseeing all operational zones to ensure compliance with Raising Cane's quality and service standards. Responsibilities include opening and closing the restaurant, managing cash handling, enforcing company policies, directing crew members during shifts, and delivering exemplary customer service. This position requires someone who is energetic, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
The work environment includes both interior and exterior restaurant areas and involves physical tasks such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending. Candidates should be comfortable working in varied temperature conditions and safely using industrial equipment and commercial cleaning products, often with personal protective equipment. This role not only demands operational expertise but also strong leadership qualities to support and motivate the crew while fostering a positive work atmosphere.
Raising Cane's offers a competitive initial pay rate starting at $18 per hour, with variation based on location and experience. Full-time restaurant managers receive an impressive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy coverage; dependent care and healthcare flexible spending accounts; life and disability insurance; hospital indemnity, accident, and critical illness insurance; and a 401(k) plan with employer match for employees 21 and older. Financial advising services, gym membership programs, tuition reimbursement, employee assistance programs, and even pet insurance are part of the extensive benefits designed to support the wellbeing and growth of their managers.
Additional perks include weekly pay, competitive pay with monthly bonuses, paid time off, sick time, eight paid holidays annually, early closure for company events, casual work attire, and access to employee discount programs. The company strives to create a supportive environment where managers can develop professionally while being recognized and rewarded for their hard work. Joining Raising Cane's means becoming part of a committed and friendly team focused on not just serving great chicken but also creating a rewarding and fun workplace experience.
