This role is full-time and demands availability on weekends and holidays, a reflection of the restaurant's commitment to high-quality service during peak times.

The full-time Floor Manager position at El Dorado Kitchen is a critical leadership role within the hospitality team, directly contributing to the guest experience and operational excellence. The Floor Manager acts as the face of the restaurant, warmly welcoming guests, overseeing service quality, and coordinating with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams. This position requires an individual who can skillfully manage multiple priorities, handle guest interactions with professionalism and friendliness, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

In this key managerial role, responsibilities include greeting guests courteously, managing food and beverage orders, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery, and maintaining security and confidentiality of guest information. The Floor Manager also supports the restaurant's positive culture by mentoring staff and helping to maintain the beautiful restaurant space and equipment. Candidates will need to demonstrate strong organizational skills, clear and effective communication, and sound judgment in resolving challenges. Familiarity with POS systems such as TOAST and reservation systems like OpenTable is essential, along with intermediate knowledge of wine, cocktail, and beer selections to confidently assist guests.

El Dorado Kitchen's ideal candidate will bring previous experience in casual upscale dining environments, supervisory experience, and a commitment to hospitality excellence. Certified food handler status and excellent English communication skills are required, with additional computer proficiency and guest relations training preferred. This opportunity is ideal for those seeking to grow their career in one of California's most beautiful wine country destinations while being part of a supportive and mentoring team. The company is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity and inclusion, promising a rewarding career path and a nurturing environment.
