The company is currently seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Restaurant Managers. This is a full-time position with an initial pay range starting at $18 per hour, which may vary depending on location, experience, and other factors. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the Restaurant Leader by managing day-to-day restaurant operations during assigned shifts. The Restaurant Manager upholds Raising Cane's core values and operational standards, ensuring a smooth, safe, and productive working environment for both customers and crewmembers. Working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, the manager must be able to handle physical tasks such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending during shifts. The position involves both indoor and outdoor work in varied weather conditions and requires adherence to safety and hygiene protocols involving food, commonly known allergens, industrial equipment, and cleaning products.

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for several critical operational duties, including opening and closing the restaurant, managing cash handling, enforcing company policies, and monitoring the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility. They lead and guide crewmembers during shifts, ensuring operational tasks are executed efficiently and standards are maintained. Additionally, the manager utilizes internal tools to document shift results and take corrective action when necessary, while also promoting exemplary customer service and utilizing reward programs to recognize crew contributions and boost morale.

Ideal candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, the ability to manage shifting priorities, strong communication abilities, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. Job Requirements

  • able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends and travel as needed for work-related functions and training
  • must complete all required raising cane’s company training programs
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
  • self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
  • able to recognize problems, set goals, execute and convert plans into action to solve problems
  • knowledge and skills in staffing, scheduling, people and cost management
  • proficient in a variety of technology systems including microsoft office (excel, word and outlook) and ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • ensures operations meet raising cane’s standards in all restaurant zones during a shift
  • acts as manager on duty and opens and closes the restaurant
  • manages cash handling and ensures accountability
  • enforces raising cane’s policies and standards
  • executes shift management meeting raising cane’s operations and safety standards
  • uses required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution, document results and take corrective action when needed
  • directs crewmembers during a shift
  • provides exemplary customer service
  • utilizes reward and recognition program for the crewmembers in the restaurant
  • authorizes employee functions requiring manager approval such as discounts, promotions and timeclock overrides
  • ensures cleanliness of the restaurant and that the facility is in good working order
  • completes other duties as assigned
