Working at Cracker Barrel means being part of a community where care extends beyond just the guest experience. Managers and associate managers are vital in nurturing this culture by providing leadership, guidance, and resources that empower employees to deliver exceptional service. The company emphasizes internal growth and development opportunities, offering nearly 100% internal promotion rates for higher-level roles such as General Manager and District Manager positions. Training and professional development are cornerstones of the management experience at Cracker Barrel, equipping leaders to be role models who inspire their teams.
The Restaurant Associate Manager role at Cracker Barrel is a dynamic and rewarding position that blends people management skills with operational oversight. This position requires a passion for hospitality, leadership skills, and a dedication to maintaining the company’s high standards for service and quality.
As a Restaurant Associate Manager, you will work approximately 50 hours per week, usually spread over five 10-hour shifts, including holidays and weekends as needed. This role demands a valid driver's license, fluency in English, and a caring attitude that embodies Cracker Barrel's commitment to hospitality. The compensation package is competitive and includes annual merit increases, quarter-based bonus opportunities, and comprehensive benefits from day one.
Benefits provided by Cracker Barrel include medical, dental, vision coverage, life insurance, disability protection, paid vacation, and an employee assistance program for well-being support. Furthermore, the company offers financial growth tools such as a 401k plan with company matching contributions starting at 90 days, an employee stock purchase program, and tuition reimbursement to encourage ongoing educational advancement. Employees also enjoy a 35% discount on Cracker Barrel food and retail items, making this a position that invests in both career satisfaction and personal well-being.
Joining Cracker Barrel means becoming part of a longstanding tradition of warmth and care, both for guests and employees.
