Job Description
Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is a rapidly growing restaurant chain dedicated to serving the most craveable chicken finger meals—known as their One Love. Founded with the philosophy of Work Hard. Have Fun., Raising Cane's has quickly become one of the fastest-growing chicken concepts in the United States and is on track to become a Top 10 restaurant brand nationwide. Renowned not only for their delicious menu offerings but also for their exceptional crew and engaging culture, Raising Cane's emphasizes creating a workplace where team members are valued and empowered to succeed. The company offers competitive pay, with initial hiring rates starting at $24.00 per hour, depending on location, experience, and other factors. They also provide a robust benefits package aimed at supporting their full-time restaurant managers through medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, and life insurance coverage along with financial planning resources and wellness programs.
The role of a Restaurant Manager at Raising Cane's is crucial to maintaining their high standards and vibrant culture while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Restaurant Managers support the Restaurant Leader by managing shifts, overseeing staff activities, and ensuring all restaurant zones meet Raising Cane's operational and safety standards. They act as manager on duty, responsible for opening and closing procedures and managing cash accountability. This position requires working in a fast-paced kitchen environment that demands physical exertion like walking, standing, lifting, and bending. Managers interact frequently with customers and team members, working both indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures, handling food products and sometimes industrial equipment while adhering to safety and cleanliness protocols.
Beyond operational leadership, the Restaurant Manager plays a pivotal role in enforcing company policies, delivering exemplary customer service, and fostering a positive work environment through recognition and rewards programs for crew members. Additional responsibilities include authorizing employee functions such as discounts, promotions, and time clock overrides and ensuring the restaurant facility remains in good working order. This managerial role involves continuous attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving capabilities to successfully manage shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment. Raising Cane's supports its leaders by providing comprehensive training programs to equip them with the knowledge and tools needed for success. If you are self-driven, energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about leading a team in a fast-growing restaurant brand, this role at Raising Cane's offers a rewarding career path. The company values collaboration, strong communication, and the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and systems, preparing managers not only to meet but exceed expectations in delivering the Raising Cane's experience to guests and crew alike.
