The Restaurant Manager role at Texas Roadhouse is a critical leadership position responsible for the smooth operation of both the Front of House and Back of House. This role ensures that the restaurants consistently deliver legendary food and service to every guest. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing restaurant operations, including leading and coaching hourly employees, ensuring quality food preparation, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. The Restaurant Manager will also take a proactive approach to driving sales, enhancing the guest experience, and managing inventory and costs efficiently. Key responsibilities include hiring and training staff, conducting performance evaluations, scheduling shifts, and fostering a positive and safe work environment aligned with the company’s core values. Additionally, the Manager will enforce strict food safety and security procedures to maintain the well-being of both employees and guests. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience managing hourly employees
  • familiarity with restaurant operations and food safety regulations
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Manage hourly employees including conducting performance evaluations coaching and discipline
  • reviewing applications interviewing and hiring or making recommendations to hire hourly employees
  • directing work for employees including setting hours weekly schedules and assigning tasks before during and after restaurant hours
  • driving sales steps of service and guest satisfaction
  • providing directing and scheduling Front of House and Back of House training
  • supervise and oversee the production and preparation of food consistent with established recipes and procedures
  • conducting formal line Taste and Temps
  • enforcing appropriate security measures to maintain safety of employees and guests
  • manage food supplies and liquor costs by conducting weekly inventory
  • understanding managing and practicing safe food handling procedures
  • creating a safe fun and clean work environment consistent with core values and operational goals
