Texas Roadhouse is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join its team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $55,000 to $80,000 annually. The Restaurant Manager will oversee both the front of house and back of house operations to ensure the highest standards of food quality and service are consistently met. This role is critical to maintaining the Texas Roadhouse reputation for legendary food and unforgettable customer service.

As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading hourly employees through effective coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when necessary. Your leadership will play a vital role in hiring new staff, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and making recommendations to ensure the restaurant is staffed with the best talent. You will also create weekly schedules, assign tasks, and direct the work of the team to maintain smooth daily operations.

In addition to managing people, the Restaurant Manager is tasked with driving sales performance, enhancing guest satisfaction, and enforcing safety and security measures for both employees and guests. You will coordinate and schedule comprehensive training for front of house and back of house employees, ensure that all food preparation follows established recipes and procedures, and conduct regular quality checks such as line taste and temperature assessments.

Managing operational costs, including food, supplies, and liquor inventory, is a key responsibility to maximize profitability while maintaining excellent standards. The Restaurant Manager will also promote a safe, clean, and fun work environment that aligns with Texas Roadhouse’s core values and operational goals.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Several years of experience in restaurant management or hospitality
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Capability to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Commitment to upholding safety and quality standards

Job Duties

  • Manage hourly employees including conducting performance evaluations coaching and discipline
  • Review applications interviewing and hiring or making recommendations to hire hourly employees
  • Direct work for employees including setting hours and weekly schedules and assigning tasks before during and after open hours of the restaurant
  • Drive sales steps of service and guest satisfaction
  • Provide direct and schedule Front of House and Back of House training
  • Supervise and oversee the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
  • Conduct formal line taste and temperature checks
  • Enforce appropriate security measures to maintain the safety of employees and guests
  • Manage food supplies and liquor costs by conducting weekly inventory
  • Understand manage and practice safe food handling procedures
  • Create a safe fun and clean work environment consistent with core values and operational goals
