Job Description
Boca Restaurant Group is a distinguished hospitality organization that operates four unique restaurant concepts: Boca, Sotto, Nada, and Domo, with locations spread across Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, and Maryland. Renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation, Boca Restaurant Group is driven by the core philosophy of BPA — Blowing People Away. This philosophy captures the essence of the group's dedication to delivering outstanding culinary experiences, impeccable service, and genuine hospitality to every guest who walks through their doors. The company prides itself on being a world-class restaurant group that values both professional growth and a family-like atmosphere for its employees. With a strong focus on fostering leadership aligned with foundational core values such as generosity, humility, positivity, integrity, diligence, continuous learning, and a spirit of hospitality, Boca Restaurant Group cultivates an environment where team members can thrive both personally and professionally.
Among the group's vibrant concepts, Nada stands out as a modern Mexican culinary destination that emphasizes craveable dishes crafted from scratch, featuring unique twists on classic flavors. Nada offers guests a lively, bright, and hip atmosphere where friends and families can come together to enjoy tacos, small plates, and an array of shareable dishes designed to explore diverse taste sensations. This emphasis on authenticity, quality, and community creates an inviting space that escapes the ordinary, delighting guests with bold flavors and a social dining experience.
The role of Restaurant Manager at Nada is a dynamic and impactful position that centers around maintaining high operational standards and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. As the manager of a high-volume restaurant, the individual is responsible for continuously evaluating and enhancing all aspects of the dining experience including the ambiance, food, beverages, and overall service. This role is hands-on and involves managing the full lifecycle of hourly team members — from interviewing and hiring to scheduling, training, and performance feedback. The Restaurant Manager acts as a mentor and coach, specifically focusing on front-of-house staff development to deliver superior menu knowledge and elevated service standards.
Key responsibilities include leading motivational and educational pre-service meetings, creating memorable BPA experiences, and maintaining a strong tableside presence to engage guests, solicit feedback, and address any concerns promptly. The position also entails significant financial responsibilities such as managing inventory, ordering supplies, overseeing tip distribution, adjusting timecards, and reconciling cash and credit transactions to ensure operational efficiency.
Boca Restaurant Group seeks candidates with at least two years of management experience in upscale, full-service, high-volume restaurants. Candidates should possess ServSafe certification or its equivalent and demonstrate a genuine spirit of hospitality. The ideal manager is highly organized, attentive to detail, a strong communicator, and embodies servant leadership qualities. This role offers competitive compensation and benefits including weekly pay, paid vacation, major holiday closures, comprehensive health insurance options, disability coverage, dining privileges, parental leave, and access to employee assistance programs. This is an outstanding opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to join a nationally respected restaurant group, grow in a supportive environment, and make a tangible impact on guest satisfaction and team development.
