Job Description
Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is a rapidly expanding restaurant chain dedicated to serving the most craveable chicken finger meals, famously known as their One Love. Established as one of the fastest-growing chicken concepts in the nation, Raising Cane's aims to firmly establish itself as a Top 10 Restaurant Brand across the United States. Known for its vibrant culture and a strong emphasis on having a great Crew, Raising Cane's fosters a Work Hard. Have Fun. philosophy that resonates throughout all its locations. This dynamic environment not only highlights a dedication to quality and customer satisfaction but also creates a supportive and engaging workplace where each team member contributes significantly to the brand's enduring success.
The role of the Restaurant Manager at Raising Cane's is a pivotal one, situated at the heart of daily restaurant operations. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $22 to $22.75, depending on location, experience, and other factors. Restaurant Managers serve as key players in managing shifts, upholding Raising Cane's high standard of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness throughout the restaurant. They act as managers on duty, handling important responsibilities such as opening and closing the restaurant, managing cash handling and accountability, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Working in this role requires a hands-on approach within a fast-paced kitchen environment, calling for physical endurance and the ability to manage many moving parts simultaneously. Managers must navigate the operational aspects of the restaurant, including staff management, scheduling, customer interaction, and facility maintenance. The position demands the ability to enforce company standards while fostering a positive and motivating work atmosphere. Furthermore, Restaurant Managers follow a structured leadership model that includes conducting shift meetings, rewarding and recognizing crewmember performance, and authorizing employee functions requiring managerial approval.
Beyond the day-to-day management duties, Raising Cane's offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time Restaurant Managers. This package includes medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy benefits, along with dependent care and healthcare flexible spending accounts. Life and disability insurance, hospital indemnity, accident and critical illness coverage, and pet insurance further enhance the security provided to employees. Additionally, Raising Cane's supports employees' financial wellness through a 401(k) plan with employer match, access to financial advisors, tuition reimbursement programs, and wellness initiatives like the One Pass Gym Membership Program.
The restaurant also recognizes the value of work-life balance and personal time, offering paid time off, sick time, eight paid holidays annually, early closures on company event days, and casual work attire to create a comfortable work environment. Competitive pay combined with monthly bonuses and weekly pay schedules (with some exceptions based on location) make this an attractive career opportunity for individuals passionate about leadership in quick-service restaurants.
Joining Raising Cane's means becoming part of a team committed to raising the bar in food service excellence. This role is perfect for proactive, detail-oriented individuals with a passion for customer service, employee development, and operational excellence. Aspiring candidates are encouraged to take this opportunity to grow their careers in a company recognized for its culture, quality, and rapid growth trajectory.
