Job Description

Chuy's is a renowned restaurant founded in 1982 in Austin, Texas, known for its authentic made-from-scratch Tex-Mex cuisine served in a vibrant and eclectic atmosphere. The restaurant is distinguished by its unique decor, such as hand-carved wooden fish hanging from the ceiling and shiny hubcaps suspended above the booths, contributing to a lively and colorful environment that reflects the brand's fun and energetic personality. As a full-service restaurant with a scratch kitchen, Chuy's takes pride in delivering exceptional dining experiences that combine great food with memorable ambiance and friendly service. The company values a culture that is anything but boring, emphasizing a welcoming and playful atmosphere both for guests and employees alike.

The position of Restaurant Manager at Chuy's is an exciting and dynamic role that places you at the core of the restaurant's operations. This leadership role requires a passionate and energetic individual who can steer the team toward excellence, ensuring that every guest feels valued from their first interaction until their last sip of a signature margarita. The Restaurant Manager oversees all aspects of the restaurant including the bar, lobby, and to-go systems to maintain smooth and efficient service across the board. The role demands a hands-on leader who can foster a high-performance team environment, set and enforce high standards for food safety and sanitation, and maintain a sense of urgency in a fast-paced and high-volume setting.

In addition to operational oversight, the Restaurant Manager is responsible for leading with a results-driven mindset, motivating staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences, and upholding Chuy's commitment to quality and fun. This role is perfect for someone with previous management experience in a similar hospitality environment who is eager to contribute to a thriving company with a strong culture of promoting from within and supporting professional growth. The employment benefits are comprehensive and designed to support the manager's career development, well-being, and work-life balance. The pay is variable based on location, reflecting the local market conditions and cost of living, making it important for candidates to consider these factors.

At Chuy's, the Restaurant Manager role is not just a job but an opportunity to be part of a community that celebrates food, flavor, and fantastic experiences while fostering a fun and inclusive workplace where employees can grow and succeed. Whether you are leading a bustling dining room or ensuring the kitchen operates like a well-oiled machine, your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining the vibrant spirit that Chuy's is known for. If you're ready to bring your passion for hospitality and your management expertise to a place that truly values people, this could be the perfect fit.
