The role at California Pizza Kitchen represents an exciting opportunity for a motivated front-of-house (FOH) manager to join a passionate and talented team. This full-time management position carries a salary range between $70,304 and $74,000 and requires someone who is not only experienced but also deeply committed to cultivating a positive and engaging guest experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of FOH management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment, demonstrating exceptional leadership qualities, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality and service. As a key leader on the team, the manager will play an instrumental role in inspiring and motivating employees, fostering a people-first mentality, building a strong team focused on culinary excellence and guest satisfaction, and driving sales and profitability.

In this role, the manager will be responsible for managing the restaurant’s profit and loss statement, forecasting, budgeting, controlling labor expenditures, and analyzing financial variances. The manager will also ensure a safe and healthy environment by upholding strict sanitation and health standards. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interactions with guests, employees, suppliers, and senior management. The position demands physical stamina as the manager will be required to spend long hours standing, sitting, or walking, and occasionally performing physical tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds.
