Raising Cane's is currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Restaurant Manager to join its team. The Restaurant Manager will play a critical role in supporting the Restaurant Leader with the daily operations of the restaurant and ensuring that all Raising Cane's standards and culture are upheld during their shift. This full-time position offers an initial hiring pay starting at $18 per hour, though actual pay may vary based on location and experience.

The role requires managing a fast-paced environment focused on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining operational efficiency. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for opening and closing the restaurant, managing cash handling with accountability, enforcing company policies, directing the crew during shifts, and ensuring the cleanliness and good working order of the facility. The position demands a hands-on approach to supervising crewmembers and executing operational and safety standards while using the necessary tools, forms, and logs to document shift activities and take corrective action when necessary.

Job Requirements

  • 1+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
  • able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • must complete all required raising cane's company training programs
  • proficient in microsoft office
  • detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • self-driven and flexible with strong communication skills
  • able to recognize problems, set goals and execute plans
  • knowledge in staffing, scheduling, people and cost management
  • able to travel as needed for work-related functions and training

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • ensures operations meet raising cane's standards in all restaurant zones during a shift
  • acts as manager on duty and opens and closes the restaurant
  • manages cash handling and ensures accountability
  • enforces raising cane's policies and standards
  • executes shift management meeting raising cane's operations and safety standards
  • uses required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution, document results and take corrective action when needed
  • directs crewmembers during a shift
  • provides exemplary customer service
  • utilizes reward and recognition program for crewmembers
  • authorizes employee functions requiring manager approval
  • ensures cleanliness of the restaurant and good working order of the facility
  • completes other duties as assigned
