In the role of Restaurant Manager at Wendy's in McComb, MS, you will work closely with the General Manager to lead and support a team that is committed to creating a fun, inviting, and respectful work environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with both the General Manager and District Manager. You will be responsible for managing labor costs, reviewing budgets and profit and loss statements, and executing a comprehensive sales and profits plan. The Restaurant Manager’s daily responsibilities extend to supervising inventory management, cash and equipment security, maintenance programs, and administrative tasks such as scheduling and compliance with company benefit standards. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in restaurant or food service management preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during shifts
  • Review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
  • Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
  • Monitor crew prep, production, and procedures execution to control costs
  • Track waste levels by enforcing established procedures
  • Communicate sales and profit issues to General Manager or District Manager
  • Assist in executing restaurant sales and profit plans
  • Monitor food costs to prevent waste and theft
  • Monitor product quality through customer interaction and crew performance feedback
  • Assess service times and train crew to respond efficiently
  • Train crew in customer courtesy and solicit customer feedback
  • Establish and communicate daily sales goals
  • Train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness and direct corrections
  • Train crew on new products and cross-train for efficient shift coverage
  • Recognize high-performing crew members to management
  • Follow flowcharts to meet prep and production goals
  • Monitor inventory levels and complete physical inventory
  • Manage food deliveries and maintain security of cash, product, and equipment
  • Implement restaurant priorities and plans
  • Manage shifts to quality, service, and cleanliness standards
  • Follow company operations manual and safety protocols
  • Report accidents promptly
  • Manage operational procedures per Health Department guidelines
  • Perform administrative duties including crew scheduling
