The Restaurant Manager role at Texas Roadhouse is an incredible opportunity for someone who is passionate about hospitality, leadership, and culinary excellence. This full-time position, offering an annual salary between $55,000 and $65,000, is responsible for overseeing both Front of House and Back of House operations to ensure that the company’s promises of Legendary Food and Legendary Service are consistently met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, with a hands-on approach to team leadership and guest satisfaction.

As a Restaurant Manager, you will lead a diverse team of hourly employees, manage employee performance, and drive operational excellence. You will be responsible for staffing decisions, including interviewing, hiring, and coaching team members, as well as setting weekly schedules that optimize service efficiency. Ensuring food quality and safety is paramount, so active involvement in supervising food preparation and conducting quality checks like line Taste & Temps is part of the daily responsibilities. You will also manage inventory and cost control measures including food, supplies, and liquor to meet financial targets while maintaining the high standards expected by Texas Roadhouse.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in restaurant management or related field
  • Knowledge of food safety and health regulations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Manage hourly employees including conducting performance evaluations coaching and discipline
  • Review applications interviewing and hiring or recommending hire of hourly employees
  • Direct work for employees including setting hours weekly schedules and assigning tasks
  • Drive sales steps of service and guest satisfaction
  • Provide direct and schedule Front of House and Back of House training
  • Supervise food production and preparation consistent with established recipes and procedures
  • Conduct formal line Taste and Temps
  • Enforce appropriate security measures to maintain safety of employees and guests
  • Manage food supplies and liquor costs by conducting weekly inventory
  • Understand manage and practice safe food handling procedures
  • Create a safe fun and clean work environment consistent with core values and operational goals
