The role of Restaurant Manager at Smashburger is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensuring superior guest experiences. Job Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of restaurant management experience
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • must successfully complete Smashburger training program
  • compliance with Smashburger uniform and operational standards
  • ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, and corporate teams
  • willingness to work in varied temperature environments

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of manager experience in restaurants
  • strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • people management skills to effectively select, assess, coach/counsel, develop, motivate, and lead restaurant teams
  • excellent attention to detail
  • proven time management, consistency, and organizational skills
  • highly motivated, self-directed, and results driven
  • ability to follow Smashburger uniform standards
  • ability to follow all guidelines and procedures set forth by Smashburger and local, state, and federal employment regulations

Job Duties

  • Lead, train, and manage shift leaders and team members
  • foster a positive and productive work environment
  • oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures
  • ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations
  • monitor and improve guest satisfaction and service standards
  • manage scheduling, labor costs, and team performance
