The role of Floor Manager at El Dorado Kitchen is a critical leadership position central to delivering the hospitality mission of the establishment. This full-time position requires weekend availability including Saturday, Sunday, and Monday in both AM and PM shifts, as well as holiday availability, with an emphasis on flexibility. The Floor Manager acts as the face of the venue, greeting guests warmly, overseeing food and beverage orders, and ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout the dining experience. Responsibilities include managing order accuracy, processing payments with strict adherence to cash handling procedures, and maintaining guest confidentiality and security.

Moreover, the Floor Manager supports the upkeep of the restaurant environment, ensuring that the space and equipment are maintained to the highest standards. Job Requirements

  • Availability for Saturday Sunday and Monday AM PM shifts including holidays
  • Flexibility preferred
  • Ability to stay organized and think clearly while analyzing and resolving challenges with sound judgment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with vendors and back-of-house team members in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform duties with efficiency and meticulous attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of experience as a casual upscale dining server or equivalent
  • One year of supervisory experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests management and co-workers
  • Food handler certification
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Computer training on POS systems preferred
  • Prior guest relations training preferred
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred

Job Duties

  • Courteously greet escort and thank guests upon departure setting the tone for exceptional experiences
  • Take food and beverage orders with expertise and enthusiasm
  • Retrieve and serve alcoholic non-alcoholic beverages and food orders according to high service standards
  • Process payments efficiently while maintaining proper cash handling procedures and security protocols
  • Ensure the security and confidentiality of all guest information
  • Create excellent guest experiences that ensure satisfaction and build lasting memories
  • Assist in maintaining the beautiful restaurant space and equipment
