Nestled conveniently on the lively and historic Sonoma Square, our property is a contemporary 27-room boutique hotel combined with an award-winning restaurant that celebrates the rich food culture of the region. At the helm of our kitchen is Executive Chef Armando Navarro, whose celebrated seasonal menu highlights the finest Sonoma ingredients, reflecting the rich agricultural heritage and vibrant flavors that define this wine country destination. Our restaurant and hotel thrive on the dynamic energy of the plaza, offering guests a unique experience that harmonizes world-class dining with warm, personalized service in a charming and beautiful setting.

We pride ourselves on fostering a positive and professional work environment that places a high value on the personal touch and genuine connections. Our team culture at El Dorado Kitchen is built on mentoring, development, and growth, where employees are encouraged to enhance their skills, take on leadership roles, and build a rewarding career in hospitality. Joining El Dorado Kitchen means becoming part of a strong, stable team dedicated to excellence and passionate about creating memorable moments for our guests. Our commitment to supporting career advancement and team cohesion contributes to a workplace that is both joyful and professionally nurturing.

The role of the Floor Manager at El Dorado Kitchen is a pivotal leadership position central to delivering our acclaimed hospitality experience. This full-time role requires candidates to have availability on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and holidays, demonstrating flexibility in scheduling. As a Floor Manager, you will be the face of our hospitality mission, responsible for greeting and escorting guests, managing food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and accuracy, and ensuring smooth operation of dining services. You will oversee payment processing while safeguarding proper cash handling and guest confidentiality, all while maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of our restaurant environment.

In your leadership capacity, you will mentor and support our team members, helping cultivate a positive and cohesive culture through exemplary service and operational standards. Your organizational skills and clear judgment are essential as you analyze and resolve day-to-day challenges, collaborating with vendors and back-of-house staff to maintain efficient service. Your role requires familiarity with restaurant operations, beverage expertise, and a deep understanding of culinary offerings, allowing you to confidently represent the El Dorado Kitchen brand in every guest interaction.

This position offers the exciting opportunity to thrive in one of California's most picturesque wine country locales, with a convenient commute and a vibrant community. El Dorado Kitchen encourages careers that blend individual achievement with team success in a supportive atmosphere where growth is not just possible but actively facilitated.
