Job Description

Top Dawg Tavern is a family-owned and operated, full-service casual dining restaurant that has established itself as a popular go-to dining spot in the southeastern United States. Since its founding in 2013, the company has expanded to six locations across Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida, providing consistent, high-quality dining experiences for families and individuals alike. Open seven days a week, Top Dawg Tavern offers both lunch and dinner service in a clean, family-friendly, and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant prides itself on delivering excellent food, friendly service, and a welcoming environment where guests can enjoy classic casual dining with a modern twist.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our local team and uphold the standards and values that Top Dawg Tavern represents. This role is designed for a motivated leader ready to oversee and enhance the overall guest experience by managing various operational aspects of the restaurant, including service, culinary, and bar areas. As a salaried management position, the Restaurant Manager will be instrumental in maintaining smooth daily operations, leading and supporting teams, and ensuring that every customer receives the highest level of service and hospitality. The role requires strong leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, kitchen personnel, and department managers.

A successful candidate will preferably have prior experience in restaurant management functions such as general manager, supervisor, shift lead, or kitchen manager. Experience with the Aloha point of sale system is advantageous, as is having ServSafe certification. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant preparations, generating financial reports, communicating with staff and the leadership team, managing recruitment efforts, and fostering a positive work environment to motivate and retain employees. This role not only involves operational duties but also requires excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to make strategic decisions that support business growth and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles
  • familiarity with POS systems particularly Aloha desirable
  • ServSafe certification preferred

  • proficient in recruitment and staff management

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a restaurant general manager, supervisor, shift lead, kitchen manager or similar restaurant management function

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage team of restaurant staff including servers, hosts, bartenders, department managers and kitchen staff
