Job Description

Asia Live is a vibrant Asian cuisine restaurant located in the Westfield Valley Fair Mall in the heart of Silicon Valley. Scheduled to open in the spring of 2026, it is the first of several expansions from the renowned China Live San Francisco. Known for its dedication to delivering authentic and modern Asian dishes inspired by a wide range of flavors from across the continent, Asia Live offers a unique dining experience that is both immersive and engaging. The restaurant spans an impressive 12,000 square feet and boasts an open kitchen concept, allowing diners to watch the art of cooking unfold, creating a lively and dynamic atmosphere.

Asia Live stands out for its commitment to high-quality ingredients, exceptional service, and a welcoming environment that fosters memorable dining experiences. As a part of a growing restaurant group, Asia Live seeks to blend tradition with innovation, appealing to both local residents and visitors looking for authentic Asian flavors combined with contemporary culinary techniques. This type of restaurant plays an important role in the dining landscape of Silicon Valley, where diverse culinary preferences and high standards drive the market.

The Restaurant Manager at Asia Live is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations. This leadership position demands a combination of excellent managerial skills, deep knowledge of Asian cuisine, and experience in handling high-volume service environments. The manager ensures the smooth functioning of the restaurant front-of-house and back-of-house operations, maintaining outstanding food quality and excellent guest service standards. The role requires the ability to efficiently manage staff through hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision, while fostering a positive, team-oriented culture that values respect and inclusiveness.

Beyond operational duties, the Restaurant Manager plays a critical role in maintaining vendor relationships, overseeing inventory control, and managing costs related to food and labor. Compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations is a non-negotiable priority, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of guests. Additionally, the manager monitors sales performance and budgets, and is actively involved in developing and executing marketing initiatives to attract and retain a loyal customer base.

Success in this role is characterized by a passion for Asian cuisine coupled with strong communication and problem-solving skills, flexibility to work within the demanding schedules of the hospitality industry, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Multilingual skills and experience with traditional and modern Asian food presentation are valuable assets, enhancing both guest interactions and operational excellence.

Overall, the Restaurant Manager position at Asia Live offers a unique opportunity to be part of a vibrant and expanding restaurant group that prioritizes culinary authenticity, outstanding service, and a culturally rich dining experience.
