Job Description

Chili's Grill & Bar, founded in Dallas, Texas in 1975, has firmly established itself as a leading casual dining restaurant chain known for its vibrant atmosphere and flavorful American cuisine. Renowned for iconic menu items such as Big Mouth burgers, house smoked ribs, sizzling fajitas, and expertly crafted hand-shaken margaritas, Chili's has become a beloved destination for guests seeking a memorable dining experience. With a deep commitment to service and hospitality, Chili's culture is built around creating a welcoming environment where every guest feels valued and every team member is empowered to deliver excellence. The company prides itself on fostering community involvement and giving back, making it more than just a restaurant but a cornerstone of the neighborhoods it serves.

The Manager role at Chili's is pivotal to the restaurant's success, linking the front-line team members with operational goals and guest satisfaction. As a Chili's Manager, you will be wired for hospitality and passionate about connecting with both team members and guests. This position goes beyond managing shifts; it requires leading with both heart and mind, cultivating a win-together culture that celebrates teamwork and recognizes those who go above and beyond. Your leadership will directly influence the restaurant's atmosphere and financial performance by ensuring operational standards are met and exceeded.

Managers at Chili's have the rewarding responsibility of guiding their teams through high-energy shifts, striving to deliver exceptional guest experiences consistently. You will be the model of operational excellence, holding team members accountable while fostering an environment of open communication and vulnerability. You will champion change and lead initiatives that drive business results, ensuring cost control by leveraging Chili's established systems. The role demands a proactive mindset dedicated to root cause analysis, self-reflection, and accountability, setting the tone for a transparent and constructive work environment.

Additional managerial duties include hiring, training, and developing team members, preparing them for advancement and enabling them to contribute meaningfully to the restaurant's success. You will also nurture guest engagement within the restaurant and build relationships within the local community, enhancing Chili’s brand presence. Attention to food safety and quality is paramount, and you will be responsible for reinforcing these standards daily by following operational systems such as conducting quality line checks and adhering to the Manager Timeline. Embracing Chili's culture and cultural beliefs—Every Guest Counts, Food Perfection, Be Accountable, and Play Restaurant—will be essential to embodying the spirit and mission of the brand.

This position is based at the Chili's location at 426 Russell St, Hadley, MA, offering a competitive salary range of $68,000 to $75,000 hourly, reflecting the value Chili's places on experienced and dedicated management professionals. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at multitasking, and value dependable teamwork, this opportunity will allow you to grow your career in restaurant management while contributing to a company renowned for its lively, fun culture and commitment to excellence.
