The position available at California Pizza Kitchen is one oriented towards leadership within a front-of-house (FOH) management capacity, designed for professionals passionate about hospitality, team development, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant setting. As a FOH manager, you will play a critical role in driving the company’s mission through hands-on leadership, fostering a people-first environment that promotes growth and engagement among team members. The role involves managing various facets of restaurant operations including sales growth, budgeting, labor management, and maintaining health and safety standards to secure a safe and welcoming environment. You will be responsible for building a high-performing team oriented around hospitality and culinary skill, encouraging career development and cross-training opportunities. The role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with team members, guests, suppliers, and senior management. Financial acumen is critical as you will oversee the restaurant’s profit and loss (P&L) statements, forecast financials, control labor costs, and ensure portion controls and budget adherence.
