Job Description

Miller Apple has proudly operated Applebee's restaurants since opening their first location in 1993. Over the past 30 years, they have expanded to include 21 highly successful Applebee's restaurants spread across mid and Northern Michigan. Miller Apple is recognized for its commitment to quality service, community involvement, and providing a welcoming atmosphere where guests enjoy great food at affordable prices. As an established franchisee of Applebee's, Miller Apple continues to build on the success and reputation of this popular full-service casual dining restaurant brand, known for enticing menu options and a friendly dining experience.

The Restaurant Manager role at Miller Apple is an exciting opportunity for experienced restaurant management professionals seeking to grow their career within a dynamic and supportive environment. The company offers one of the most competitive benefits packages in the industry, designed to reward dedication and hard work. Managers can expect bonus potential of up to $25,000 annually, with eligibility to earn bonuses every four weeks. Additionally, the company observes closures on four major holidays -- Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day -- providing extra paid time off to spend with family and friends. The flexible schedule includes a half day every other week, alternating between two 5-day work weeks and two 4.5-day work weeks in each four-week period. Managers who work beyond their scheduled workweek receive paid sixth-day compensation or a pro-rated daily salary if an additional day is required.

In the Restaurant Manager role, you will oversee all front and back of house operations. This includes managing staff, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and driving operational efficiency to meet financial goals. Miller Apple values managers who have a passion for service and a commitment to excellence in delivering great food and memorable dining experiences to guests. You'll lead and develop hourly team members, fostering a positive work culture and supporting their professional growth. As part of Applebee's, a nationally recognized full-service restaurant concept, this position offers ample opportunities for career advancement within the casual dining industry.

The company also supports its management team with comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance. Additionally, paid meals, a 401(k) retirement plan, and uniforms fully covered by the company — including shirts, pants, shoes, belts, and hats — are provided. Vacation benefits are generous, offering up to 5 weeks per year based on tenure, with eligibility for the first week after just four months of employment. Paid sick leave, bereavement leave, as well as maternity and paternity leave are also part of the employment package, reflecting the company’s commitment to work-life balance and employee wellness.

If you are a motivated individual with two or more years of full-service restaurant management or fast-food general management experience and a passion for leading teams to deliver exceptional service, Miller Apple invites you to join their thriving Applebee's family. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that values excellence, growth, and the drive to succeed. Miller Apple is an Equal Opportunity Employer and looks forward to hearing from candidates who are eager to contribute to their continued success.
