The restaurant manager will be responsible for overseeing repairs, maintenance, and daily operations, ensuring all policies and safety regulations are comprehensively followed. Additionally, this person will assist with hiring, training, and performance management to foster a motivated, efficient, and guest-oriented team atmosphere. Someone working in this role will have to focus on delivering outstanding guest service continuously, promoting a positive dining experience that encourages repeat customers and favorable reviews.
A successful candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced pub setting, and demonstrate high integrity, professionalism, and maturity. This position demands a problem-solving mindset for managing potentially difficult situations and maintaining operational excellence. Physical endurance is also important as the role requires standing or walking for 8 to 10 hours, with availability during nights and weekends to accommodate the restaurant’s busiest times.
