Job Description
Asia Live, located at the Westfield Valley Fair Mall in the heart of Silicon Valley, is an exciting new venture set to open in the spring of 2026. As the first expansion of the renowned China Live San Francisco, Asia Live promises to be a flagship venue showcasing authentic Asian cuisine in a modern and vibrant setting. This 12,000 square-foot restaurant complex features an innovative open kitchen design, allowing diners to witness the culinary artistry involved in creating an array of dishes inspired by flavors from across Asia. The establishment is dedicated to offering high-quality ingredients, outstanding service, and a welcoming dining atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience.
Asia Live is more than just a restaurant; it represents a celebration of Asian culinary traditions combined with contemporary presentation and hospitality standards. This new location offers a unique opportunity to be part of a growing brand that values cultural authenticity and exceptional dining service. The team at Asia Live is committed to crafting memorable experiences for guests through flavorful dishes and a thoughtfully curated environment.
The role of Restaurant Manager at Asia Live is pivotal to the success of this new establishment. The manager will oversee all facets of restaurant operations, ensuring that front-of-house and back-of-house activities run smoothly and efficiently. This includes responsibility for hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff to build a motivated and skilled team. Maintaining the highest standards of customer service is paramount, along with promptly addressing any guest concerns to guarantee satisfaction.
The Restaurant Manager will also be charged with upholding the authenticity and presentation of Asian cuisine dishes, working closely with culinary staff and vendors to maintain quality and consistency. Managing inventory, vendor relations, and controlling restaurant costs are critical aspects of this role to support profitability and operational health. Additionally, the manager will ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations to provide a safe dining environment.
Beyond daily management, the Restaurant Manager will track sales performance, manage budgets, and contribute to marketing initiatives aimed at attracting and retaining customers. Fostering a team-oriented, culturally respectful workplace is essential, aligning with the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
This position requires a dynamic leader with strong communication skills and a passion for Asian cuisine. Candidates should have experience managing high-volume dining environments and possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and problem-solving acumen. Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary given the hospitality industry's demands.
Asia Live offers an exceptional opportunity to lead a prestigious restaurant brand in a prominent location while advancing your career in restaurant management. Join us in creating an extraordinary dining experience that blends tradition with innovation, and be part of a flourishing culinary journey in Silicon Valley.
