At the Shake Shack location in Canal Place, New Orleans, the company is seeking a full-time Shack Management professional to lead daily restaurant operations. This role is key to maintaining the brand’s reputation for superior service, quality, and hospitality. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction, manage and motivate a dynamic team, and uphold health and safety regulations. With the responsibility to train team members on all aspects of Shack operations, the manager plays a pivotal role in delivering an unforgettable customer experience and supporting the overall growth of the restaurant. Beyond internal management, the role requires strategic community engagement through promotional activities and events that strengthen the Shack Shack brand locally.

The ideal Shack Manager will bring 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant setting with a strong understanding of restaurant business operations, personnel management, and financial acumen. Leadership skills focused on coaching, motivation, and excellence are crucial, alongside a working knowledge of sanitation and safety standards and the ability to work flexible hours. Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years of restaurant management experience
  • knowledge of personnel management, food preparation, purchasing, sanitation, health codes, and security
  • leadership and coaching skills
  • understanding of financial business operations
  • food handler certification preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant setting
  • working knowledge of restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security
  • must exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence at every level
  • understanding of financial aspects of business operations
  • food handler certification, preferred
  • willingness to work flexible hours

Job Duties
