Job Description

Cracker Barrel is a renowned American restaurant and retail chain that has been serving up a unique blend of Southern comfort food and a nostalgic country store experience for over 50 years. Established in 1969, Cracker Barrel has grown to encompass hundreds of stores across multiple states, employing more than 70,000 team members nationwide. The company is deeply rooted in principles of warmth, care, and hospitality, creating an environment where employees feel valued and guests experience a true sense of welcome. At Cracker Barrel, the work culture emphasizes the importance of community and teamwork, making each moment, whether big or small, meaningful for both staff and visitors. This blend of tradition and genuine care contributes to the distinct identity that sets Cracker Barrel apart in the casual dining and retail industry.

The role of Restaurant Associate Manager at Cracker Barrel is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about people and restaurant operations to join an established and caring team. As a Restaurant Associate Manager, you are not just a manager but a key leader who impacts both the employee experience and guest satisfaction. You will manage all aspects of store operations, including responsibilities in both the front- and back-of-house, ensuring that each day runs smoothly and that every guest receives the memorable hospitality Cracker Barrel is known for. Supported by the home office 24/7, you will have access to vital resources and tools designed to help you succeed in your leadership role.

This position demands a dedication to hospitality and a caring attitude that extends beyond traditional management duties. The company invests heavily in the growth and development of its managers, providing training, professional development opportunities, and clear pathways to promotions, including goals of nearly 100% internal promotions to General Manager and District Manager roles. In addition to these career advancement opportunities, the company also offers a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one, encompassing medical, dental, vision coverage, life insurance, and disability benefits.

The Restaurant Associate Manager role requires candidates who are willing to work approximately 50 hours per week, including holidays and weekends, signifying a commitment to excellence and team support in a dynamic restaurant environment. In return, Cracker Barrel recognizes and rewards the hard work of its managers through competitive salaries, merit increases, bonuses, and various other perks such as discounts on food and retail items, 401(k) plans with company matching, and an employee stock purchase program. By joining Cracker Barrel, you become part of a legacy of hospitality and care, where your leadership can meaningfully impact both guests and employees while advancing your career in a supportive and welcoming environment.
