This position is for a Del Taco restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not Del Taco LLC. This means that if hired, your employer will be the independent franchisee responsible for all employment-related matters at the restaurant including hiring, wages, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. The independent franchisee manages the day-to-day operations ensuring that all employment decisions align with their management strategy.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience in quick service or full service restaurant industry
- ServSafe certification
- fluent in English
- excellent communication skills
- ability to lead and motivate teams
- valid driver’s license
- proof of vehicle insurance
- ability to travel and drive to restaurant locations including overnight travel
- strong organizational skills
- ability to work under pressure
- physical ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, and lift as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience in QSR or full service concept
- ServSafe certified
- fluent in English
- Spanish language skills a plus

Job Duties
- Fully staff the store with quality people
- recruiting, hiring, and retaining all restaurant employees
- ensuring the entire team is certified according to current training processes
- creating a service oriented culture
- promoting an environment of fun and teamwork
- evaluating performance and recommending salary increases
- recommending, approving, and administering disciplinary actions
- developing and growing team members and future managers
- executing Del Taco standards and processes 100% of the time
- maintaining facilities and customer areas
- maintaining all equipment to operational and safety standards
- delivering quality products to Del Taco standards
- adhering to cleaning schedules and standards
- ensuring employees dress in proper uniform
- ensuring a consistent service experience
- ensuring POP and signage are present and correctly placed
- identifying and communicating sales goals
- ensuring proper staff placement according to sales
- increasing customer count and check average
- executing local store marketing opportunities
- staying aware of local events and competition
- executing speed and service standards
- flawlessly executing marketing promotions
- maintaining staffing levels in line with sales
- complying with labor laws
- accurately managing inventory
- ensuring cash handling procedures
