The company prides itself on its vibrant and supportive culture, highlighting its motto: Work Hard. Have Fun. This philosophy is deeply integrated into its operations, creating an engaging and dynamic work environment for every team member. Raising Cane's is known for fostering a cool culture and consistently delivering excellent customer service, making it a preferred choice for both employees and customers alike. Their commitment to quality extends beyond food to how they treat their employees and customers, making it a standout brand in the food service industry.
The Restaurant Manager role at Raising Cane's is a pivotal position responsible for supporting the Restaurant Leader in the day-to-day management and smooth operation of the restaurant. This is a full-time role with an hourly pay starting at $18, though the exact compensation may vary based on location and experience. The manager's primary responsibility is to uphold and enforce Raising Cane's high standards and unique culture during every shift. Working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, the Restaurant Manager is expected to be physically active, involving activities such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending throughout the shift. Interaction with customers is also a key part of the role, necessitating strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
This role demands a leader who is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously in a rapidly changing environment. The Restaurant Manager acts as the manager on duty, responsible for opening and closing the restaurant, managing cash handling with accountability, and ensuring operational compliance with company policies. They are also expected to manage shift operations effectively, direct crew members, maintain the cleanliness and condition of the restaurant, and provide exemplary customer service. Supporting the crew through reward and recognition programs and authorizing employee functions like discounts and timeclock overrides are part of the management duties.
The position also entails working with various systems and processes, including technological tools such as Microsoft Office and company-specific software, to execute shift management and document results accurately. Flexibility is essential, as the manager must be able to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and participate in travel for work-related training or events. Raising Cane’s restaurant managers benefit from a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, pharmacy benefits, dependent care accounts, company-provided life and disability insurance, 401(k) with employer match, and other perks such as gym memberships and tuition reimbursement. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a rapidly expanding brand with a strong corporate culture committed to employee development and satisfaction, making it an excellent career opportunity in the restaurant management industry.
