The Out West Restaurant Group stands out as a highly respected franchisee known for its commitment to employees, innovative training, and community involvement. With multiple awards including placement in the Top 50 Franchisees in the U.S. for four consecutive years and recognition by the International Franchise Association for community service, this organization thrives on a culture of respect, camaraderie, and genuine care for its staff and guests. Their values focus on treating people 'Just Right', fostering an environment where every employee, known as an "Outbacker," is trained extensively and empowered to succeed. The company actively promotes equal opportunity, fairness, and a welcoming environment without discrimination based on any protected status as per federal and state laws.

The Restaurant Manager role at Outback Steakhouse offers a rewarding career with an annual salary ranging from $67,000 to $80,000. This position requires taking ownership of all front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations to ensure a seamless restaurant experience. This role combines previous management experience with the group’s robust training to mold successful leaders who inspire teams and deliver top-quality service consistently.

The restaurant manager is a cornerstone of the Outback Steakhouse operation, responsible for day-to-day functioning, including managing labor, inventory, and food safety standards. The manager will lead a team that thrives on good morale and professional development, fostering a positive work environment where employees are motivated and mentored. Attention to detail is critical, ensuring every dish meets the high standards for taste, temperature, and presentation. The manager will also oversee compliance with cleanliness, safety, and sanitation protocols to maintain a spotless and orderly restaurant. Customer satisfaction is paramount, and the manager will be proactive in growing the business through innovative sales and marketing efforts. Recruitment remains an ongoing priority to ensure a vibrant, skilled workforce. Employees can expect a strong work-life balance, targeted at a 47-hour work week, and numerous benefits including comprehensive health insurance, paid vacation, retirement plans, and employee assistance programs. The company respects legal rights surrounding wage, hour, and workplace accommodations and supports continuous employee growth and well-being within a hospitable culture that values hard work and leadership.
