Job Description

Asia Live is an exciting new restaurant located at the Westfield Valley Fair Mall in Silicon Valley, scheduled to open in spring 2026. As a significant expansion of the renowned China Live San Francisco brand, Asia Live celebrates authentic and modern Asian cuisine by offering a vibrant dining experience inspired by the diverse flavors from across Asia. The restaurant occupies a spacious 12,000 square-foot complex featuring a unique open kitchen design, allowing diners to witness the culinary artistry behind each dish. This innovative concept pays homage to the original China Live dining experience while pioneering a fresh approach for fans of exceptional Asian food in the Silicon Valley area.

Asia Live distinguishes itself by combining high-quality ingredients, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere that appeals to a broad spectrum of diners seeking not only excellent food but also an immersive gastronomic adventure. The restaurant prides itself on its commitment to maintaining authenticity in its Asian cuisine offerings, curated with care to highlight the vibrant cultural heritage and culinary traditions of Asia. The team at Asia Live is driven by passion, creativity, and dedication to service excellence, aiming to deliver memorable dining occasions that keep guests returning.

The role of the Restaurant Manager at Asia Live is central to realizing the establishment's vision of providing a seamless, high-end dining experience. This leadership position involves overseeing daily operations, including both front-of-house and back-of-house activities, ensuring that everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards. The manager’s responsibilities include staff hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, and fostering a team-oriented environment where employees feel motivated and respected. The ability to lead with empathy and proficiency in customer service is essential, as the Restaurant Manager is the frontline ambassador who resolves guest concerns swiftly and maintains an exceptional level of satisfaction.

Beyond operations management, the Restaurant Manager plays a crucial role in preserving the authenticity and presentation standards specific to Asian cuisine. This responsibility requires a thorough understanding of traditional and contemporary Asian food preparations and presentation techniques to maintain the restaurant’s reputation for culinary excellence. Additionally, the manager will monitor inventory, oversee vendor relations, and control food and labor costs tightly to ensure profitability without compromising quality.

Compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations is paramount in this position, ensuring the restaurant meets and exceeds industry standards. The Restaurant Manager will also be charged with tracking sales performance, managing budgets, and implementing innovative marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain loyal patrons. This role demands a strategic thinker who can balance daily operational needs with long-term business goals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment typical to the hospitality industry.

Asia Live offers a unique opportunity for an experienced restaurant professional who is passionate about Asian cuisine and possesses strong leadership skills to join its opening team and make a lasting impact on Silicon Valley’s culinary scene. The successful candidate will enjoy a challenging and rewarding career within a growing brand committed to culinary excellence, exceptional service, and cultural respect.
