The Manager role at Panera Bread is a vital leadership position within the bakery-cafe. As a Manager, you will be integral to orchestrating exceptional guest experiences while supporting and developing your team. This position involves overseeing daily operations to ensure that food quality, customer service, and health standards are consistently upheld. You will cultivate meaningful relationships with guests that encourage loyalty and repeat visits. As a leader, you will coach and inspire your team, helping them achieve their personal and professional goals. In addition to team leadership and operational oversight, Managers participate actively in hiring and training new staff, ensuring that food safety standards such as ServSafe certification are met and maintained. Job Requirements
- minimum age 18 years
- 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred
- flexible hours including nights and weekends
- ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects 25 pounds
- capability to stand and walk for up to 6 hours
- ability to clearly communicate and understand directions in a loud environment
- background check required
Job Qualifications
- minimum 18 years of age
- 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred
- proven ability to lead great shifts while directing, motivating, coaching, and developing others in a fast-paced environment
- ServSafe certification or ability to achieve certification
Job Duties
- make sure every guest is delighted by the quality of our food, service, and staff
- build engaging relationships that lead to long-term, loyal guests
- lead, manage and develop team members by coaching, inspiring, and motivating them to exceed goals in sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest experience
- participate in the interviewing and selection process
- train the team in food safety standards and ensure they are maintained
- help build our culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust
