Job Description

Miller Apple opened its first Applebee's restaurant in 1993 and has since grown to operate 21 successful restaurants across mid and Northern Michigan. Celebrating 30 years as a proud franchisee, Miller Apple has established itself as a leader in the casual dining industry with a focus on delivering exceptional food, service, and guest experiences. The company is known for a strong commitment to its team members, offering rewards and benefits that recognize dedication and performance while fostering a supportive and engaging work environment.

Miller Apple is actively seeking talented, experienced Restaurant Managers to join their team and contribute to their continued success. Applebee's (APP) is a well-established full-service restaurant concept that provides significant growth opportunities for employees looking to advance in the casual dining sector. As a Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing either the front or back of the house, working closely with a team of dedicated professionals to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and to ensure operational excellence.

This role requires a passion for service, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to upholding the company’s standards for quality and hospitality. Restaurant Managers at Miller Apple benefit from a competitive compensation package, including the potential to earn bonuses up to $25,000 annually. Managers enjoy a structured work schedule with unique perks such as being closed on four major holidays including Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day, which are additional paid days off.

Miller Apple offers a flexible and rewarding work schedule where managers work a half day every other week and have a combination of two 5-day work weeks and two 4.5-day work weeks every four-week period. Additional compensation includes pay for working during a sixth day beyond the standard workweek and payment for extra days worked if necessary. The company strongly supports the well-being of its staff by providing comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance plans, as well as meals and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Managers also earn up to five weeks of vacation annually, based on tenure, with eligibility for the first week after just four months of employment. Paid sick leave, bereavement leave, maternity, and paternity leave further support work-life balance. Additionally, the company provides managers with uniforms, covering shirts, pants, shoes, belts, and hats, helping to uphold the professional image of the team.

If you have over two years of experience in full-service restaurant management or as a general manager in a fast-food environment, experience developing hourly team members, and a love for delivering great food and service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Miller Apple values commitment to excellence and drive to succeed. Joining this team means contributing to a company that values its employees and offers ample opportunities for career advancement within the Applebee’s brand.
