The position of Restaurant Manager at Denny's is a pivotal leadership role, reporting directly to the General Manager. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing approximately 15 to 20 crew members during their assigned shifts, ensuring smooth restaurant operations, maintaining service excellence, and enhancing the overall guest dining experience. The role includes close collaboration with peer Restaurant Managers and Hourly Supervisors to support the General Manager's broader operational goals and to drive the success and profitability of the restaurant. Key responsibilities cover a wide range of essential functions including guest satisfaction, staff engagement and development, restaurant sanitation, financial oversight, growth initiatives, safety and security, asset management, and regulatory compliance. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift a tray up to 25 lbs
  • Able to lift and carry supplies up to 50 lbs and place items on shelves
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and grasp
  • Ability to hear well in loud environments
  • Must meet regulations for food handling health risk
  • Proficient in operating point-of-sale systems
  • Capable of working with all menu products
  • Able to work around hazardous chemicals

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail management
  • Food Safety Manager certification

Job Duties

  • Ensure guests first approach to create a respectful and enjoyable environment

  • Oversee restaurant sanitation to comply with brand standards and pass health inspections
