Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift a tray up to 25 lbs
  • Able to lift and carry supplies up to 50 lbs and place items on shelves
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and grasp
  • Ability to hear well in loud environments
  • Must meet regulations for food handling health risk
  • Proficient in operating point-of-sale systems
  • Capable of working with all menu products
  • Able to work around hazardous chemicals
  • Sufficient mobility for confined work areas
  • Ability to work inside and outside the restaurant
  • Capable of standing and walking 11-12 hour shifts
  • Tolerate extreme temperatures in kitchen and freezer
  • Willingness to work 50-55 hours per week with additional days as needed
  • Ability to identify and anticipate opportunities and implement corrective action
  • Available for periodic travel including overnight and airline travel

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail management
  • Food Safety Manager certification
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent oral and written communication
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills
  • Respect for diversity
  • Proven problem-solving ability under stress
  • Ability to interpret financial statements
  • Willingness to multitask
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Licensed to operate a vehicle
  • Reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Ensure guests first approach to create a respectful and enjoyable environment
  • Coach employees on addressing guest complaints promptly
  • Work with the General Manager to attract, hire, develop, coach, and retain hourly employees
  • Maintain proper staffing levels and schedules
  • Oversee restaurant sanitation to comply with brand standards and pass health inspections
  • Assist in interpreting financial and operational reports to meet profit goals
  • Monitor safety and security procedures and protect company assets
