Job Requirements

  • Responsible beverage service certification required for all California based positions
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to train and develop team members
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Experience in inventory management and cost control
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service

Job Duties

  • Contribute to the success of the restaurant's operations
  • Ensure training and development of employees are ongoing
  • Optimize profits by controlling labor, food and beverage costs through proper ordering and inventory practices
  • Grow business through sales and marketing
  • Increase customer satisfaction and manage standards of service
  • Commit to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during the shift and prepare food with proper safety equipment, tools and recipe specs
  • Develop Outbackers into Certified Trainers, Keys, and Assistant Culinary Managers and direct restaurant activities on a shift by shift basis
  • Passionate about the taste and temperature of each dish and perfect plate presentations
  • Demonstrate immaculate standards while maintaining an organized and "like new" restaurant
