Outback Steakhouse has grown into a popular dining destination known for its commitment to serious food, fun atmosphere, and unique hospitality style. The company prides itself on creating a culture of respect, camaraderie, and enthusiasm where employees, called "Outbackers," are treated with care and encouraged to succeed. The core philosophy of Outback Steakhouse is to treat every customer like a guest in their own home and to support the growth and development of every team member through a comprehensive training and management program.
The Restaurant Manager role at Outback Steakhouse is an opportunity for experienced leaders passionate about food and hospitality to join a company that values continuous learning and teamwork. Managers undergo an extensive Manager in Training (MIT) program designed to build proficiency in key areas such as Serious Food, Concentrated Service, and Spirited Drinks. As a manager, you will be working closely with a team and reporting directly to the Managing Partner of the restaurant. This role focuses on ensuring the success of the restaurant’s operations by overseeing everything from employee training and development, to controlling labor and inventory costs, maintaining high food safety standards, and driving customer satisfaction. Outback Steakhouse also emphasizes the importance of a safe and sanitary environment and remarkable dining experiences through perfect food presentation and atmosphere.
Joining Outback Steakhouse means becoming part of a fun-loving, dedicated team in a great work environment where your leadership skills will be developed and valued. The company offers competitive pay and a robust benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, employer-paid life and AD&D insurance, short and long-term disability coverage, employee assistance programs, a 401(k) plan, paid vacation, and more. The culture at Outback Steakhouse prioritizes treating people "Just Right," fostering enthusiasm, and empowering managers to deliver exceptional dining experiences. If you are passionate about hospitality, customer service, and leadership, this is a great opportunity to advance your career with a respected restaurant group that supports its Outbackers every step of the way.
