We are currently hiring a Restaurant Manager for our San Francisco location with a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $90,000. This is a full-time position designed for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. As the Restaurant Manager, you will take full ownership of the front-of-house operations and lead a team committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences. From opening until the venue closes late at 1am, you will ensure every service period — including dinner and late-night dining — runs smoothly and to the highest standards.
Your role will be vital in maintaining the exceptional reputation of Chotto Matte by overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and driving service excellence. You will collaborate closely with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Head Chef to coordinate efforts between the kitchen and dining room to maximize efficiency and quality. Job Duties
- Support the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the venue
- Deliver a first-class guest experience for all guests
- Help build and train a high performing team around you through structured and quality recruitment
- Motivate, develop and incentivise your team across all departments of the business
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to maximise efficiency between front and back of house during service
- Maintain awareness of competitors and hospitality trends and provide feedback to General Manager regularly
- Deliver and manage training needs of all team including compliance such as due diligence, licensing, health and safety, fire, COSHH, allergens, food safety and manual handling
- Maintain and improve the service standards of the venue through training, coaching, innovation and consistency
- Manage atmosphere ensuring it is on point at all times
