Chang's positions itself as a leader in the casual dining industry by delivering a blend of traditional and contemporary flavors crafted from fresh ingredients. The company prides itself on creating a unique dining experience that combines authenticity, quality, and hospitality. With a dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace culture, P.F. Chang's emphasizes growth opportunities and professional development for its employees. The company believes in promoting from within and actively supports its teams with comprehensive training programs.
Currently hiring for full-time roles such as Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Assistant Manager, Restaurant Hospitality Manager, or Front of House (FOH) Manager, P.F. Chang's offers competitive pay ranging from $20.98 to $27.97 per hour or an annual salary from $60,002.80 to $79,994.20 based on experience. These positions are non-exempt and typically require 50 hours per week, reflecting the fast-paced and dynamic environment of a leading casual dining establishment.
The key responsibility of the Restaurant Manager role is to oversee and execute all front of house operations consistent with P.F. Chang's established standards and the guidelines set forth by the Operating Partner. The role demands excellent leadership skills as the Restaurant Manager is expected to effectively communicate across various levels of staff and management, motivate and mentor team members, and ensure operational excellence throughout every shift. Acting as the primary leader for the front of house in the Operating Partner's absence, the Restaurant Manager must maintain a high level of organizational, interpersonal, and operational competence.
This position involves managing and driving the restaurant's financial performance by increasing sales and maximizing profit margins through cost control and efficient resource management. The Restaurant Manager will cultivate a culture centered on outstanding guest service, ensuring that every dining experience exceeds customer expectations through warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality. Maintaining high standards for cleanliness, kitchen operations, and equipment usage are also vital to uphold the integrity of the culinary environment.
In addition to operational duties, the Restaurant Manager plays a critical role in shaping a positive and family-style work environment that encourages teamwork, growth, and passion among employees. The position requires hands-on involvement in training, mentoring, and coaching hourly team members to enable personal and professional advancement. Skills in conflict resolution and communication are essential for managing team dynamics and fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
P.F. Chang's values candidates with experience in high-volume, fast-paced restaurant settings and those familiar with inventory management, cost of goods, and financial controls. Preference is given to individuals with backgrounds in casual dining, upscale restaurants, or retail industries. Working at P.F. Chang's offers more than a job; it's a meaningful career driven by the company's core purpose to celebrate life, family, and food. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, competitive pay with performance incentives, professional development programs, employee referral bonuses, exclusive discounts, holidays off for key celebrations, and community support through financial assistance. This position promises growth, achievement, and the opportunity to positively impact guests and team members alike.
