Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is a prominent and rapidly expanding restaurant chain specializing exclusively in chicken finger meals, proudly known as their "One Love." Established as the fastest-growing chicken concept in the United States, Raising Cane's is on a trajectory to become a Top 10 restaurant brand nationally. The company's success is largely attributed to its dedicated crew and vibrant culture, which embraces a "Work Hard. Have Fun." philosophy that fosters a positive and productive work environment. This philosophy makes Raising Cane's not just a place to work but a community where employees, referred to as Crewmembers, are valued contributors to the brand's rapid growth and enduring success.
The position available is for a Restaurant Manager at Raising Cane's. This role is pivotal in supporting the Restaurant Leader with the daily operations of the restaurant while upholding the company's high standards and unique culture during shift management. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring that all areas of the restaurant meet Raising Cane's operational standards, managing cash handling procedures, and acting as the manager on duty including opening and closing the restaurant. This role demands a hands-on approach in a fast-paced kitchen and front-of-house environment that includes physical activities such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending. The work setting may expose employees to varied temperatures and involves working with food products, allergens, industrial kitchen equipment, and commercial cleaning supplies, all requiring adherence to safety protocols and personal protective equipment use.
Additionally, the Restaurant Manager is expected to enforce company policies, support crewmembers through effective leadership, and maintain exemplary customer service standards. They play a crucial role in directing team members during shifts, utilizing tools and systems for shift execution, and ensuring a clean and well-maintained restaurant environment. The manager is also responsible for authorizing employee activities that require managerial approval, such as discounts and promotions. Beyond routine duties, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to the employee reward and recognition programs, enhancing team motivation and workplace satisfaction.
Raising Cane's values leaders who are detail-oriented, organized, and adept at managing multiple changing priorities. Being self-driven, flexible, and energetic with strong communication capabilities is essential. Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office applications and a quick adaptability to new systems, is required. Candidates should also have experience with staffing, scheduling, and cost management. The job demands availability for various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and occasional travel for work-related training or functions.
For full-time Restaurant Managers, Raising Cane's offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, pharmacy benefits, flexible spending accounts for healthcare and dependent care, and company-provided life and disability insurance. Additional benefits include hospital indemnity and accident insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer match for employees over 21, access to financial advisors, gym memberships, tuition reimbursement, crewmember assistance programs, and pet insurance. The company also provides perks such as weekly pay, competitive pay plus monthly bonuses, paid time off and sick leave, holiday pay, early closure for company events, casual work attire, and employee discounts through Perkspot programs.
The starting pay range for this role is between $22 and $22.75 per hour, depending on location, experience, and other factors. This role offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals who want to be part of a leading restaurant brand, develop their leadership skills, and engage in a rewarding restaurant management career with extensive support and benefits.
