Job Description
Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is a renowned fast-casual restaurant chain specializing exclusively in chicken finger meals. The company has established itself as a leader in the quick-service restaurant industry by focusing on quality, consistency, and an engaging customer experience. Raising Cane's is dedicated to serving only the best-tasting and most craveable chicken finger meals, which they refer to as their ONE LOVE. Their commitment to quality extends from their menu to their culture, making them a unique and beloved brand in the communities they serve. The company culture is deeply rooted in purpose, teamwork, and community involvement, fostering a work environment that values each team member's contribution and promotes continuous growth and development.
Raising Cane's is experiencing rapid growth and aims to become one of the top 10 restaurant companies in the United States. Their Restaurant Support Office (RSO) employees and restaurant crew members are integral to this success, working collaboratively to uphold the brand’s high standards and vibrant culture. The company offers competitive wages, starting at $18 per hour for initial hiring, along with a robust suite of benefits for full-time employees, including medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy coverage, as well as additional perks like life and disability insurance, 401(k) with employer match, tuition reimbursement, and gym memberships.
In the role of Restaurant Manager, Raising Cane's seeks a dynamic individual to support the Restaurant Leader in the daily operations of the restaurant. This includes ensuring that all shifts meet the company’s high standards in food quality, customer service, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. Restaurant Managers act as manager on duty, handling responsibilities such as opening and closing the restaurant, managing cash handling procedures, and maintaining accountability for operational processes. The role requires working in a fast-paced kitchen and dining environment, which involves physical activities like walking, standing, lifting, and bending, under various temperature conditions. Managers also interact directly with customers, ensuring exemplary service and fostering a positive dining experience.
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for enforcing Raising Cane’s policies, executing shift management protocols, and leading the team through effective communication and reward systems. This role demands a high level of organization, multi-tasking ability, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Expertise in staffing, scheduling, and cost management is crucial to success, along with proficiency in technology systems such as Microsoft Office. The ability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, and travel for training is also required. Raising Cane's provides ongoing company training to support the development and performance of their managers, ensuring the brand’s standards are consistently met across all locations.
This opportunity is ideal for those with at least one year of restaurant or retail management experience who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences, leading teams, and contributing to a thriving company culture. Raising Cane’s values detailed-oriented, self-driven, and energetic individuals who can work both independently and collaboratively to solve operational challenges and drive business success. Those who join Raising Cane's as Restaurant Managers can expect a rewarding career path with competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive company culture focused on growth and excellence.
