The role of the Restaurant Manager at Raising Cane's is pivotal in supporting the Restaurant Leader with daily restaurant operations and ensuring the team upholds the brand's distinguished standards and culture. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for shift management and plays a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence across all restaurant areas during their shift. This includes acting as manager on duty, managing cash handling and accountability, and opening and closing the restaurant. The position requires a hands-on leader who ensures adherence to company policies and standards while delivering exceptional customer service. The work environment includes fast-paced kitchen settings with physical activities such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending, alongside some exposure to varied temperature conditions and food handling procedures.

This full-time position offers an initial hiring pay of approximately $18 per hour, subject to adjustments based on location and experience. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must complete all required Raising Cane’s company training programs
  • Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
  • Able to travel as needed for work-related functions and training
  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-driven, flexible and highly energetic
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
  • Knowledge and skills in staffing, scheduling, people and cost management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Knowledge and skills in staffing, scheduling, people and cost management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Able to learn and adapt to new technology systems quickly
  • Able to recognize problems, set goals, and execute plans effectively

Job Duties

  • Ensure operations meet Raising Cane’s standards in all restaurant zones during a shift
  • Act as manager on duty and open and close the restaurant
  • Manage cash handling and ensure accountability
  • Enforce Raising Cane’s policies and standards
  • Execute shift management meeting Raising Cane’s operations and safety standards
  • Use required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution, document results and take corrective action when needed
  • Direct crewmembers during a shift
  • Provide exemplary customer service
  • Utilize reward and recognition program for crewmembers
  • Authorize employee functions requiring manager approval such as discounts and timeclock overrides
  • Ensure cleanliness of the restaurant and maintain facility in good working order
  • Complete additional duties as assigned
