We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. This pivotal role involves the comprehensive management of both front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house food and beverage operations, including bar and banquet events. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership qualities, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a deep commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for maintaining cost and quality standards, ensuring guest satisfaction, and overseeing the security and upkeep of the restaurant’s physical assets. Key responsibilities include hiring, training, and managing staff, preparing and cooking menu items, managing inventory and procurement, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and health standards. The position demands excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse personalities and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional outlook. Proficiency with POS systems, hotel property management software, and Microsoft Office applications is essential. The ideal candidate will also possess a clear driving record, ServSafe certification (preferred), and a strong attention to detail. Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five years of previous restaurant or related management experience
  • Deep experience in front and back of the house food and beverage operations
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with POS systems hotel property management systems Microsoft Windows Word and Excel
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Clear driving record

Job Duties

  • Management and execution of day-to-day front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house food and beverage operations for a boutique hotel including bar and banquet events
  • Financial responsibility for food and beverage operations including oversight of pricing and procurement of supplies and management of costs
  • Oversight of the restaurant interior and all fixtures furnishings and equipment as it pertains to food and beverage operations
  • Hiring training scheduling management of staff members
  • Prepping preparing and cooking menu items
  • Ordering all needed food beverages and kitchen supplies
  • Oversee event setup service execution and post-event breakdown
