This job opportunity is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee of Del Taco, a well-known fast-food brand that specializes in Mexican-inspired cuisine. The restaurant is not directly managed by Del Taco LLC but is independently owned and run, which means that all employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, wages, supervision, staffing, and scheduling are handled solely by the franchisee. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years experience in quick service restaurant or full service concept
- ServSafe certified
- Fluent in English, Spanish a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and math skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and under pressure
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance
- Ability to travel and drive to restaurant locations, some overnight travel may be required

Job Duties
- Fully staff the store with quality people
- Recruit, hire, and retain all restaurant employees
- Ensure the entire team is certified according to current training processes
- Create a service-oriented culture
- Promote an environment of fun and teamwork
- Evaluate employee performance and recommend salary increases
- Administer disciplinary actions including suspensions and terminations
- Develop and grow team members and future managers
- Execute Del Taco brand standards and processes 100% of the time
- Maintain facility and customer areas
- Maintain equipment to operational and safety standards
- Deliver quality products to Del Taco standards every time
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and standards
- Ensure employees wear proper uniform
- Ensure consistent service experience
- Ensure POP and signage are correctly placed
- Identify and communicate sales goals daily, weekly, and year over year
- Align staffing to projected and actual sales
- Increase customer count, check average, and maximize capacity
- Execute local store marketing opportunities
- Monitor local events and competition
- Execute speed and service standards
- Implement marketing promotions and campaigns
- Maintain staffing levels to align with sales
- Comply with labor laws
- Manage inventory to reduce waste and prevent theft
- Ensure cash handling procedures are followed
- Perform cash audits and resolve issues
- Execute safety and health standards
- Manage repair and maintenance costs via efficient vendor management
- Achieve controllable cost targets
- Perform other duties as assigned
