It represents the first phase of expansion for the renowned China Live concept based in San Francisco. The establishment offers an authentic and immersive dining experience across a sprawling 12,000 square-foot space. Its distinctly open kitchen layout invites guests to savor the action of culinary craftsmanship while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the venue. The role of Restaurant Manager at Asia Live is integral to the success of this exciting new establishment. This position requires an experienced and dynamic leader who can seamlessly oversee all facets of the restaurant's operations. The Restaurant Manager will direct both the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure operational efficiency and excellent guest service. Key aspects of the role include managing staffing through recruitment, training, and scheduling, as well as creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Maintaining the authenticity and presentation standards of the diverse Asian cuisine menu is a pivotal responsibility, along with monitoring inventory, controlling costs, and managing relationships with vendors. Compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations will be strictly enforced under the manager's purview. Additionally, the role involves tracking sales and budgeting to meet financial goals and devising marketing strategies to boost restaurant visibility and customer retention. Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred
minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience
strong leadership and interpersonal skills
comprehensive understanding of Asian cuisine
excellent problem-solving abilities
proficiency in managing budgets and vendor relationships
ability to maintain health and safety standards
willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Proficiency in customer service and a commitment to delivering excellent customer satisfaction
experience in hiring and training team members, with the ability to foster a positive and productive work culture
strong communication skills to lead, motivate, and effectively engage with both staff and guests
knowledge and experience in food & beverage operations to oversee quality and maintain high service standards
prior restaurant management experience preferred, with a strong understanding of Asian cuisine and culture as a plus
ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail and problem-solving skills
flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the hospitality industry
