Job Description

Raising Cane's is a renowned restaurant chain specializing in high-quality chicken finger meals, with a strong dedication to exceptional customer service and a vibrant, inclusive culture. Established with a passion for serving the best-tasting chicken fingers, Raising Cane's has grown to become a leader in the fast-casual dining sector, recognized for its commitment to quality, community involvement, and employee development. As a rapidly expanding company, Raising Cane's maintains a focus on operational excellence, team collaboration, and maintaining a fun and energetic environment for both customers and staff. With locations across multiple regions, the company prides itself on its consistent standards and innovative approaches to fast-food dining experiences.

The Restaurant Manager role at Raising Cane's is a key leadership position responsible for supporting the Restaurant Leader in the daily operations of the restaurant. This role involves managing shift responsibilities, ensuring that all zones of the restaurant meet Raising Cane's standards, and acting as the manager on duty who opens and closes the restaurant. The manager is accountable for cash handling, enforcing company policies and operational standards, and leading the crew members throughout the shift. In addition to administrative and operational duties, this role demands a hands-on approach in maintaining restaurant cleanliness, overseeing safety protocols, and ensuring the overall excellent customer service that Raising Cane's is known for. The Restaurant Manager also utilizes reward and recognition programs to motivate and support team members, while handling managerial approvals such as discounts, promotions, and timeclock overrides.

Working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, the Restaurant Manager must be prepared for physical activities including walking, standing, lifting, and bending. The position requires interaction with customers and working both indoors and outdoors in varied temperatures. Employees are expected to work safely around food products, common allergens, industrial equipment, and cleaning chemicals, with appropriate personal protective equipment. This role is essential for upholding the company's operational goals and delivering an exceptional dining experience to customers.

The position offers an hourly wage ranging between $21 and $23, reflecting the responsibility and skill required. It includes a variety of shifts covering days, evenings, and weekends, and may require occasional travel for work-related functions and training. Raising Cane's commitment to employee well-being is evident through its perk offerings, including paid time off and company closures on major holidays such as New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, which may vary by location. This fosters a healthy work-life balance and recognizes employees' dedication to the brand.

This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple shifting priorities in a dynamic environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team are essential. The successful candidate will be self-driven, adaptable, and prepared to take initiative to identify and resolve problems efficiently. Prior experience in restaurant or retail management, along with proficiency in technology and scheduling systems, will support the achievement of the restaurant's operational and financial objectives. Overall, the Restaurant Manager plays a vital part in creating an energetic, customer-focused atmosphere that aligns with Raising Cane's standards and company culture.
